There is nothing better than Win-win

It's quite unusual for a business to write a 5 star review for its competitor, but I feel obligated to do so as MAC flooring has been so courteous and professional to me when I was desperately looking for a solution in a particular situation(trouble). At least several hours of hesitation were spent before making the call to MAC flooring.. because it is obviously weird to get some advice from a competitor. It however turned out that all my worries were for naught. Christine did not hesitate to share her extensive professional opinion and knowledge with me, and because of her I was finally able to find the answer to the problem and make my customer happy. You see.. this world is filled with competitions. Every corner of the streets and they are hardly friendly, tough and even vicious sometimes. However, I am of opinion that there is always market share for each business.. especially for the business with good philosophy. One business cannot just monopolize all local market. It never works that way. So.. why fight? Help each other and grow together. There is nothing better than Win-win. They have been AMAZING!

I am going through renovations in my townhouse and have to say MAC Flooring is the ONLY contractor that I've been 100% happy with! From the constant contact, patience (with me changing my mind and them storing my carpet WAY longer than they prob should have) and cleanliness, they have been AMAZING! Kristen was extremely thorough and helpful which made the process seamless! The installers went above and beyond and even helped me rearrange some furniture when they finished the installation. I wish they can come back and finish the renovations on the rest of my house! :)

The final project is beautiful

Last week I had the entire downstairs of my home redone with LVP from Mac flooring. I was impressed from day one in the showroom with Ricks knowledge and integrity. He continued throughout the project offering good ideas and workarounds to situations as they arose. The demolishing of ceramic tile is a messy job and the team sent to me (Francisco, Francisco and Victor) could not have been better at trying to help me control the dust. They were on time every day, quiet as they worked, and cleaned up nicely everyday. The final project is beautiful and I credit them for that. 5 stars for sure, I felt like my satisfaction was important to this company.

Great pricing and beautiful floors at the end

We have used Mac Flooring on 2 different projects and have been more than satisfied on both. We recently completed a major remodel and had a horrible general, however, going direct to Mac Flooring was the highlight of our project. Our floors look amazing!! Professional, timely and did a great job

Recently engaged the services of MAC Flooring to furnish and install new wood flooring and carpet at my new place. As before, the MAC team was professional, timely and did a great job on the install. Kristin & Grant's recommendation on the carpet selection for the stairs looks so great with the wood. I hope I don't have to move again anytime soon, but if I do I'll definitely be looking to MAC for my future flooring needs.

Hands down the BEST experience

Hands down the BEST experience I have ever had with a contractor. We were in a bind since we had just fired our last contractor who left our entire house demo'd with shoddy work in our bathroom. But MAC came to the rescue and was very accommodating to our situation! From scheduling the initial in-home consultation to take measurements, design assistance with selecting the right materials for our home, installation, final walk through and contracts/billing, all the professionals at MAC were extremely helpful and very meticulous with their work. Very competitive pricing for the quality of work they provide. We did have a few minor hiccups during the install (as nearly all construction projects run into); however, MAC addressed the issues very professionally and timely and still completed the job within quoted budget and on schedule. Highly recommend MAC Flooring!

Referred me to MAC Flooring.

Called Venetian Flooring given their stellar reviews only to find out they only do wood. I spoke to the owner who referred me to MAC Flooring (awesome as they're in competition) for my porcelain/wood look tile. Got on the horn with MAC and had a 20 minute conversation with Grant about the project; no one takes that kind of time anymore, I was pretty much sold at this point. We scheduled an appointment for them to come measure and see the house. I'm in North OC and the're in South OC; they agreed to meet me at my house at 5:15pm despite the hellacious traffic, another A+ in my book. Rick was the one that came up to bid the job and measure everything. Well, after viewing my Home Depot plank, he brought some Marazzi Cambridge Oak in a Natural Color to compare. He educated me on the cheaper Home Depot tile that was more expensive to lay and less natural looking given the variation/warping that accompanies that manufacturing style vs. the slightly more expensive rendered tiles that lay flatter with smaller grout lines for a more natural look that would be cheaper to install. Both would be about the same price but the texture, print, and color of the product he brought was unbelievable next to the cheesy HD plank. He then whipped out his carpet samples. I was ready to pull the trigger based on his knowledge and the product quality of the samples that he brought. He encourages me to bring my wife to the showroom that Saturday to confirm everything and draft the contract.

Mac Flooring is absolutely amazing.

This review is long overdue! Mac Flooring is absolutely amazing. We bought a brand new house and didn't want the builder to install our wood floors due to the outrageous price they were trying to charge us. That's when my friend suggested Grant and his team to do the work. We had as many appointments with him as we needed to make sure we were getting the exact flooring we wanted. Once we got the keys to our new home, Grant and his team worked so hard to make sure our floors were done within a week. Mind you, he did our whole house from the downstairs to upstairs, laundry room and bathroom! Talk about quick! Since our house was new, we knew the house wasn't completely settled and that there could be some shifting. We didn't have too many problems,but when we had minor tweaks here and there, I called Grant and he sent his team to come fix it within a few days. I will be referring them to everyone

The price on the flooring ended up being about $1000 cheaper than Home Depot's bid with the inferior product and it included 5" baseboards as well. We signed and were on our way with a $1,000 deposit. Demo started and my engineered wood flooring only to find it glued not floating and a VERY poor glue job at that. The guys tore it up, took an extra 2 days given the complications and charged me $0 additional for that added labor. Love that kind of service. Brad, the project manager was VERY responsive via text and thorough in his explanations. Rather than hit me with "sorry, way more work, it will cost an extra $500" he apologized repeatedly for the delay. Again, awesome. There was a 4 week lapse between demo and install and I was renovating the house as well. Once renovation ceased, I called Brad back to schedule the install. Within 3 days, I had new tile/wood look flooring with 1/16" grout lines laid PERFECTLY flat and beautiful new carper and pad with our 4.5" baseboards. The contractor we selected for the renovations made me think that every part of this job would need me there to babysit and teach people how to do their job. Well, MAC proved that wrong. Their service and quality of work is impeccable and I will be referring them to everyone. Also, I'm now so used to contractors hitting me up for more money on jobs yet to be completed that it was nice that MAC flooring did everything with a $1,000 deposit up front, balance paid on completion after the final walk through. Love a business that works off a handshake like I do. Now for the gripe as every review needs a little whining. It must have been in the contract and I didn't see it but my baseboards are Swiss Coffee. I hate that color and all my door casings are bright white. I wish they would've called me before painting them a mis-matched color to my other moldings that were already installed rather than just doing it. If it bugs me enough, I will repaint them; it was just worth mentioning. I will add some pictures shortly!

Not only did Mac Flooring help us decide the perfect carpet within our budget, NO heavy sell was included. Rick, the salesman, knew his carpeting. The gentlemen that laid the carpet, Arturo and Miguel knew their trade, also. They vacuumed every spec of loose carpeting before they put everything back exactly the way it was. Bravo to MAC flooring

If I could give MAC flooring 6 stars I would. Great customer service, timely, responsive, beautiful show room, great employees, affordable and most importantly phenomenal work. We told grant that we were on a timeline and needed to be done in a rather fast manner. He committed to taking the job on the timeline and delivered quickly. We had a water leak in our house and had to battle the insurance for reimbursement. The company the insurance recommended was borderline incompetent. When we went to MAC flooring's show room and met the team we were immediately intrigued with what they could deliver. We simply needed to get it into our budget for a large project. With Grant's help we found what made the most sense for our home and were able to get the price where it needed to be. If you look at my pictures I've posted, Grant was the mastermind behind the stair runner design. Looks great. Couldn't have asked for a better company to work for. I would recommend them to anyone working on floors, baseboards, and door frames- with or without insurance reimbursements. They delivered on all fronts. There is a reason they have 5 stars! Bravo to MAC flooring.

These folks are great

These folks are great. Before MAC flooring, I searched many different retailers including Lowe's, Home Depot, and Empire today. The reason I initially searched a big retailer was that I thought I could get a better deal. Boy was I wrong. The people at MAC flooring are a small company, but very proficient with probably the best pricing for quality you can find in this area. The carpet I went with is made locally in Irvine and was actually the most affordable nylon carpet of any of the companies I mentioned earlier. Not only that, but the carpet has already been tested several times with many spills including pet vomit, red wine, and other stains and it has stood the test. I am very pleased with my purchase and their service and cannot recommend them enough.

Thank you Mac Flooring!

I had stairs and upstairs re-carpeted and had some wood laminate installed in a walk-in closet and adjacent hallway. Both sets of installers were great. Fast and clean. I had almost no clean up to do when they left. Poor guy that installed the laminate had to cut down all of the new baseboards - I think he lost a few lbs running up and down the stairs. He did an amazing job in the closet. I had him leave the closet doors off it looks so good! Thank you Mac Flooring!

Mac Flooring is a shining example of what a 5 star company should be. We hired them to replace or carpet on stairs and all throughout upstairs. I would recommend MAC flooring

MAC flooring did an awesome and beautiful job! In the middle of our living room, we had a 3 x 3-foot pillar. When we removed the pillar, we discovered the flooring did not continue underneath. The surrounding flooring was an engineered hardwood, from Hallmark Floors, installed by the previous owner about four years ago. I contacted MAC flooring and Kristin replied promptly and professionally. I received several helpful e-mailed reminders about the upcoming repair. When the day came, the professional and polite installer, Jose, suggested that in order for him to do the best job, I needed more material. I misjudged the material needed. I contacted Kristin and she quickly found more material, I picked it up from the distributor and the repair was completed the same day. The cost was reasonable and similar to other quotes. I would recommend MAC flooring to my friends and would use them again without any hesitation.

I would definitely recommend MAC Flooring!

We recently moved to MV and were looking for a reputable, reliable and quality flooring provider who could help us. We looked all over the place and after visiting Marazzi Tile in Anaheim, one of their employees referred me to MAC Flooring and specifically asked me to look up Rick Mink. I am so glad we did, as Rick guided us through our whole project from beginning to end. Initially we were looking for faux wood tiles for our home and after consulting with Rick (who came to our home before and after our project) he actually provided many great ideas to save money and settle on a porcelein tile and upgraded carpet for our home. We took a lot of time and not only was Rick patient but he walked us through design details and even helped with decorating details. The crew did a great job with our tile and carpet and baseboard installation. You can't go wrong using them!!

I can't begin to say enough about the professionalism, courtesy and talent that everyone at MAC Flooring exhibited when we remodeled our entire house. From suggestions on wood tile (we can't have wood floors but wanted the look) to carpeting and blending different carpets on the stairs and second floor, they were more than just flooring providers, they were decorating consultants and gave us honest opinions on what would be the best for our needs. Their pricing was more than reasonable and their service exceeded any other flooring company we have worked with in the past - in fact their customer care tops most of the providers we had for our remodel! I plan on going right back to them again

Originally I came across this flooring company via yelp to get some help in selecting carpet for my Kauai condo. Even though they knew there would be no "sale," they spent lots of time with us and gave us lots of good information. So, when my condo in Laguna Woods flooded out, I went to them again and had an estimate that night and installation followed just a few days later. They also advised me to upgrade from the laminate that I had chosen to a more durable type. Pros, all the way. They said what they were going to do and did it. When I re-floor my residence, I plan on going right back to them again

Flawless process!!!

Flawless process!!! We had such an amazing experience from start to finish. I love how personal everybody is there. If I ever needed to get a hold of them for questions I could call them directly. The initial meeting with Grant to discuss what we wanted to do really made my decision making easy. He was very knowledgeable about his products and the pricing was competitive. Now my favorite part was the installers. I've never had such hard workers. Always timely and worked full days with only a small lunch break. From the time they came in till they left, their heads were down working. They kept things very clean and organized which to me shows a true professional. Honest company that has both great sales, service and keeps its promises. I decided to use MAC Flooring based on another popular reviews page online. I did do other estimates in other companies and wanted to make sure things were lining up the best. Then, I decided to order both laminate wood and porcelain tile. They're a local business and I wanted to support them. If you have problems they're willing to further explain any questions. One of the tiles looked like it was raised, which was no big deal, but they we had a meeting with the supervisor and I decided to keep it. It is one thing to sale, but another thing if they have good customer service. They are also really good with scheduling and timeliness. Their pricing was also really good and I recommend MAC Flooring to others.

This is my first time buying hardwood floors, and I am so glad I found Mac Flooring. Everyone I have dealt with has been very professional and knowledgeable. Rick was very patient and helpful by providing me a thorough education on all the different types of woods and finishes. He even went online to help me find the design and look I am trying to accomplish. Grant went over all the aspects of the installation and what to look for in doing a quality job. Overall Mac Flooring offers the total best package.

Excellent service, staff, and product!

Excellent service, staff, and product! Would hire again! MAC Flooring removed our carpeting and put in laminate flooring upstairs. They also carpeted our stairs. Soon I'll have them back to do downstairs.

MAC Flooring Inc. was wonderful and helpful. When I went to the store, they helped me choose the floor I wanted. They came in and put it in when they said they were going to. I wish I had used them for my son's house.

I'm very happy with the product and the workmanship.

The installers, Tobin and Jeff, were extremely hard working and considerate. They did a beautiful job and cleaned up all of the debris, and they took care not to damage our newly painted walls. I'm very happy with the product and the workmanship.

Excellent Service

Excellent service, great and positive experience. I had a great and positive experience with MAC Flooring. We had them install some carpet, and everything turned out great. I went back and forth with trying to decide on a style and a color, but the saleswoman who helped me was very patient and knowledgeable. The actually install was perfect. The people who came in were on time, very friendly, and professional. The carpet looks great, and I would highly recommend MAC to anyone!

Very satisfied customer.

Very satisfied customer. From the moment I came, to the moment I left, every employee I worked with was helpful in guiding me in what would be best to do. They helped me with insurance information and with pricing that would be best for my family, as I have children and animals. The workers were great. They were neat and clean, and always on time. Any time I had questions, they would call back right away. They did beautiful work on both the floor and baseboard. Everything went smoothly. It is rare I would rate a business this highly; usually I always feel like there is room for improvement. However, they just did everything wonderfully. Also, one other thing that really impressed me was he saw I had a fireman key chain, and he gives discounts to police and fire workers. I explained it was a gift from a friend of my husband's, who works for the fire department. I said my husband is in the military, and he said he would give me a discount for that as well.
